Vintage farmhouse inspired decor pieces are beautiful additions to home decor. This vintage farmhouse antique haul has lovely items that will add a nice touch to my home.
Antique and vintage pieces are a large part of my home decor. They create a unique and collected feel that cannot be found from any chain home decor store. Each second hand item that I bring into my home usually has a purpose, tells a story or brings joy. This haul suites all of those reasons and more!
The HAUL
How this vintage farmhouse antique haul came to be was quite wonderful. My mom went to a neighbors rummage sale and was able to get in early. She FaceTimed me while she browsed the sale. There were so many beautiful antique and vintage pieces, but we came out with these items. Our total for this antique haul was only $32!
Brass Candlesticks
These candlesticks are always a favorite of mine to pick up. The set of three will look lovely buring on my table or ledge for the Fall and Winter months.
Candle Wall sconce & Sterling Silver Candle holder
Again, more candle holders. The double candle wall sconce is one that I debated on, but decided to purchase. I could see it adding a nice glow to a corner of my living space during the Christmas season.
The single Sterling silver candle holder is a new style for me. I usually lean towards brass or pottery style candle holders, so this may add a new touch of charm to my home.
Crock
If you know me, then you know I will rarely pass up a vintage crock. They are so versatile for every season. I add stems of different sorts for each season or simply leave them empty on a shelf. This cute smaller crock will be a fun touch.
Kerosene Lamps
If I can get my hands on affordable kerosene lamps, then I usually snatch them up. There were probably eight different lamps at the sale, but these three were my favorite. Each one of these is so unique. The short one with the handle is not like any I’ve ever seen and the tall one has such lovely details. They are a practical find as well as beautiful. I have not decorated much with kerosene lamps, but they would add the farmhouse cottage touch that my small home has. Keep your eyes open when I share my Christmas decor to see if any of these show up in my home.
Wood Crate
Another item that I rarely pass up when they are a bargain. I use crates as decor, for storing fresh produce in my basement pantry, outdoor seating or side tables and for whatever else I find use of them.
Farewell for now
Well friends, that is my rummage sale antique haul. I love searching for just the right thing to fit in my home and I think these items will do just fine. Hope to have you back to see how I may have incorporated these pieces in either my Christmas or Winter Home.
Love,
Davee
