A simple and natural Christmas home is what I love for the holiday season. Ribbons, bells and candles are the highlights in my decor along with some touches of greenery. This rustic cottage farmhouse feel is lending itself well for my small home.

I love this time of year when the snow starts to fall and everything seems to shimmer with a white magic. My home gets all cozy with more candles, Christmas lights and plenty of garland to go around. Adding this type of warmth and glow to my Christmas home is a joy to my heart.
As I like to point out for any season of decorating, do in your space what you enjoy. For me, a thrifted piece that tells a story, adds a lovely touch to my collected home. You can watch my full Christmas home tour here!
So without any more delays, let me share some inspiration of my bells, ribbons and candles Christmas home!

Entry ~ Christmas Home
My entry way is quite small, lending itself to a tight and cozy feel. I like to keep this space practical with a chair, coat rack and a few Christmas touches. Being the frugal person I am, I added a thrifted tree to an antique crock. The ice skates were given for my girls to use and the eucalyptus wreath was an Amazon find a few years back. Of course, the rustic bell was added to give the wintry charm. To me, it all feels cozy and inviting, without taking up to much space.
Living Room ~ Christmas Home
My living space for our Christmas decor has many added touches of greenery, gold and ribbon. The past few years I have kept many things the same, but there are some new pieces as well. These white knit stockings and the greenery for instance, have hung on my accordian rack for years. It’s classy yet simple.

The pillows on my couch and chair are very neutral this season. I’ve done pops of red, green and blue in the past, but I wanted a mellow look for our seating area. The Nutcracker pillow, however, is one that has a bit of whimsy and color to it. My girls enjoy pointing out the different characters on it!

Let’t talk about the new piece in my living space, the coffee table. For my Christmas decor on the table, I kept it extremely minimal with a candle and our Bible (open to the Christmas story of course)! We use this table all through the day and I did not want to be moving things on and off all the time. The table adds a nice warmth to the living space just on its own, don’t you think?

Okay, now to the featured piece, the Christmas tree! This pre-lit tree we purchased last year from Amazon. It is very fitting for our small space. My decorations this year are the same as lasts. Rustic wood bead garland with with the gold bells add a farmhouse feel and the rummage sale ornaments add a classy and elegent charm to the tree. The homemade hymn garland adds some coziness. I just love drinking my tea and reading a book by the light of the tree at night!

The built-in shelf Christmas decor has a rather rustic and cottage feel. Candles in a crock, a rustic wooden tree, some pine cones, and some faux greenery give the shelves a touch of Christmas without being over the top.

Living Area (other side) ~ Christmas Home
On the other side of our main living area is our piano. I added some faux garland to the top, threw in a few pine cones and topped it off with some Christmas lights. Garland with lights really makes a space cozy for the holidays. Candles are of course part of this vinyette and a ceramic church and mini tree.

My hanging wire baskets lend themselves to a fun place to decorate for each season. As per my Chrsitmas decor theme, I included some beeswax candles faoux greenery, a ribbon and a rustic bell.
Across from the piano I have my favorite art print. This piece of art was a fun thrift find last year that I love to add to my Christmas decor and keep out for the winter months. More faux greenery and candles in some crocks add to the simple decor of my home.

Well friends, thanks for joining me in my Christmas home tour. I will be sharing my Christmas decor for my kitchen in the next post. So for now, have a blessed Christmas season!
With love,
Davee
