This cottage and vintage rummage haul is probably one of the best hauls in years. Summer rummage sales are the way to shop to find affordable decor and especially cottage and vintage style pieces.

Lately the rummage sales have been very prevelent. I shared in a recent post on Tips for Garage Sale Shopping that being diligent and going out rummaging is key. My words spoke truth as I found some amazing items and have a great haul that I get to share with you!
Baskets
These two baskets were $1 each. They are not large but will fit many different needs in the line of organization, decor and aesthetic purposes.

This $10 storage basket will be just the thing I need for our mudroom after it is renovated. It doubles as a bench and has a pull out storage front that will be super useful.

Kitchen Decor/ Items
Copper tea kettles are a beautiful touch to a cottage style home. The pair of copper kettles was $5 and the green kettle was at a rummage sale that was a free will donation.

The little cast iron was $5. It needs a little TLC as it is rusty on the bottom, but it will be a fun addition to have in my cast iron skillet collection.
Glass flip jars with lids are pieces I try to collect to use for decanting dried goods or for filling with goodies and gifiting. It was another free will donation item. The wood mallet was $1. I’m not exactly sure why I picked it up other than I really liked it.

Vintage Decor
These brass figurines were the most amazing finds! I got them at a church rummage again so it was a free will donation. The birds make a great addition to areas in the home already. The owls would make some cute bookends and the gazelle would be lovely for Christmas decor.

Vintage books are always a nice find at a rummage sale. The Bible was only .50 and the Book of Games was at the church rummage. Each book is already placed on the built-ins in my living room.

Furniture & Larger Decor
This chair was found for $30. It is a bit more modern than the other pieces in this haul, but a mix of new and old is always a nice combination. The chair will be used in the basement after our renovation is done.
A brass lamp for our basement was also a great find at the church rummage.

This wood organizer was actually a Facebook Marketplace find for $20. This is again another item that will be used for our basement. Hopefully it will go well above our toilet as a cute organizer and decor piece. It is actually supposed to be flipped with the scallped on bottom, but I prefer the edging on the top.

A handmade quilt that was only $5 was worth the find! This quilt is so lovely and an amazing deal. It’s fun to find a piece that I know has a story and was handmade.

Thanks for sharing in my Summer Rummage haul. It is always fun to find treasures that I can use in my home and also share with you all.
