Affordable and natural fall decor is done with simple elements, is budget-friendly and is still beautiful and cozy. Tour my home as I share our home decorated for the Fall season.

Decorate your home for Fall with affordable and natural elements. Find items right in your own backyard, second hand and reused year after year. You will not find any halloween decor in my home as I keep it solely “Fall” themed. This also allows for decor to be left up into the Thanksgiving season if so desired.
So, come along as I share my home decorated with affordable and natural fall decor!

ENTRY WAY FALL HOME DECOR
The entry way in our home is very small. It really is just a place to have guest drop their coat and shoes and walk in.
The coat rack holds a checkered scarf, hat, and some dried Russian sage, which smells wonderful I might add! Of, course those items can be removed if guests need to use the rack. Adding some real pumpkins on the vintage chairs is always a natural way to incorporate “fall” into the space.

LIVING ROOM FALL HOME
Simple more muted tones are what I chose to decorate my living space with this year. The natural elements of the pumpkins, hydrangeas and wheat stems scattered about are my favorite parts of my fall decor. Bringing the outside in is a really easy way to add decor.

Thrifted throw blankets and afgans add warmth to the space. The burnt orange and cream pillows are also second hand, which add a nice color contrast to the neutral checkered throw pillows.

The built-ins remain very similar as alway. A few little pumpkins and flipping some of the books to see the seam adds a cozy vibe for this season.

We cannot forget about the candle that graces the coffee table next to the pumpkins. A beautiful glow from the candles is a lovely touch for Fall.
EXTENDED LIVING AREA (a.k.a piano/play area)
This area is left open for play and for any music lessons that may accur. It remains very simple for decor and continues the theme of the living area decor as it is in the same space.
On top of the piano and next to it simple Fall touches of candles and mini pumpkins repeat the theme. A glass vase with grass stems I found outdoors adds some height to the piano.

In my hanging baskets on the wall and in another corner I add affordable decor with thrifted artwork. There are two pieces that go together, which I use each Autumn to bring in the season.
KITCHEN FALL HOME DECOR
The kitchen gets a bit more color this fall as I still have fresh cut flowers and a beautiful bouquet that graces our eat in table. A kitchen needs to still function, yet have beauty, so I create a couple areas with a few natural fall touches.

Candles are again a lovely and cozy addition. Thrifted candle holders and these beautiful natural beeswax candles create a welcome sight on a dark morning.

Fresh and dried flowers are scattered about the kitchen space, hanging on our accordian rack, filling a pitcher and as the focal point on the table. Each of these was completely free and still adds so much life to a Fall home.

Fresh produce of apples and pumpkins are not only natural, but useful. It is apple season around here! A bowl full of freshly picked apples will be used for a yummy treat such as my slow cooker apple butter or my sourdough discard applesauce bread.

Well friends, I hope you found some ideas and affordable inspiration for decorating your fall home. It’s a beautiful time of year, so enjoy it by bringing some of those elelments into your home decor and creating a cozy and warm space.
With love,
Davee
