Small home Fall decor can be created with bringing in outdoor elements such as pumpkins, hydrangeas and wheat stems. For Fall, using thrifted finds makes it more affordable. Finally, reusing pieces from years past create a frugal and cozy Fall home that you will love.
Our little home of 950 square feet is set for the season. Simple touches for Autumn decor is what I try to share with you all. Entry ~ Fall Decor
The little entry always gets a little seasonal touch. For this Fall season wheat stems made a return from several years ago. A thrifted basket and blanket add a cozy feel to the coat hooks. Boots and a pumpkin are finish the seasonal ensemble for this little front porch.
Living Area
In the living area, the earthly tones of Fall came alive. Tan wheat stems on the built-ins with vintage books and little pumpkins remind me of harvest. Pumpkins on the coffee table and hydrangeas on the side table bring in more of the beautiful outdoors. Bringing the outdoors in, as I tend to mention in other seasonal decor posts, is an affordable and easy way to decorate for a season.
Thrifted throw blankets and pillows that have been around for several years make another reappearance. The wreath with the muted earth tones also comes back into this seasons decor for a third year. Nothing wrong with reusing decor year after year!
Similar Fall touches are added to the piano and shelves. Little white pumkins that I’ve used for four years are always an easy decor touch, especially if you haven’t had a chance to get real pumpkins.
Kitchen ~ Fall Decor
In the kitchen for Fall there is a continued theme of bringing the outdoors in and keeping to simple decor. The table is used often so a very simple table scape of pumpkins, a candle and the flowers was what we opted for.
Near the coffee stand area some hydrangeas rest in a hanging basket and some cut herbs hang on the accordian rack, waiting to be used in teas during the winter months. The last of the sunflowers rest on the coffee stand along with a fun little copper creamer and sugar set.
The half eaten apple pie truly gets some glory as it was a delicious dessert made with some neighbors fresh apples. Nothing says Fall decor like food, right!?
Another copper touch was also fun to have with the tea kettle on the counter. Copper is such a cozy Fall and Winter color to bring into a home.
A few more outdoor elements of pumpkins and hydrangeas are scattered throughout the kitchen.
In the Fall and Winter months candles are a must. We light candles almost daily, so they are such a realistic piece of decor to have in our home.
