Lasagna Assembly
In a 9x13 glass pan or cake pan spread a small amount of marinara sauce on the bottom.
Layer the uncooked noodles, followed by the meat sauce, cottage cheese and then the shredded cheese. Do this layering two more times in the same order.
At this time the lasagna can be baked at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
~ Make the lasagna ahead of time and bake later. This recipe does well to store uncooked for a day or two in the refrigerator and baking when needed.
~ I like using this organic marinara sauce from Costco. It has no added sugar and has great flavor.
~ Buy oven ready lasagna noodles.
~ I use a raw white cheddar cheese for this recipe. IAny cheese you have on hand does fine. It does not have to be mozarella.
